My fascination with vessels has followed me thoughout my life. As my work evolves, I see that even my beadwork is about vessel shapes. The decision to use beads as my medium was enhanced by my love of color. They reflect and absorb light, hold shape and dimension, and in so doing, offer surprises by being chameleons. But the more I experience their wonderful qualities, the more I realize my relationship with beads is one of learning, experiencing and sharing. What more can an artist ask of their medium?
