Beadventure donates the proceeds of the Annual Tucson Gem and Mineral Show Beadventure to The Bead Museum. This fundraiser supports special educational programs for youth and visitors to learn more about beads and the powerful role beads have played in different ethnic groups and societies.

The Nuns at San Vincenzo Abbey in Italy have been very gracious in supporting Beadventure visits. There is no fundraiser event planned at this time, but our thoughts and prayers are with these 5 courageous women who are entirely self sufficient as they live off the land and take care of the Abbey. Beadventure supports the Beads of Courage® program for children with cancer.

Beads of Courage® is a resilience-based intervention designed to support and strengthen the protective resources in children coping with cancer. Through the program children tell their story using colorful beads as meaningful symbols of courage that commemorate milestones they have achieved along their unique treatment path.

Cheryl Cobern-Browne, director of Beadventure Travel, has served on the Board of Directors for this amazing program and actively participates in the programs and fundraising activities. She will gladly accept any bead donations on behalf of the organization.
